PIPEDA Compliance Statement

SINGOA Technologies Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information in compliance with PIPEDA's ten fair information principles.

When you sign up for SINGOA's waitlist or use our services, we may collect:

  • Communication Records: Support tickets, feedback, and correspondence with our team

Financial Data

SINGOA connects to your existing accounting systems to provide AI-powered accounts receivable automation. We access:

  • Invoice data and customer information
  • Payment records and transaction history
  • Accounts receivable balances and aging reports
  • Customer payment patterns and communication history

Important: SINGOA operates with read-only access to your financial data. We never modify, delete, or transfer funds from your accounts.

Limiting Collection

We collect only the personal information that is necessary for the purposes we have identified. We do not collect information indiscriminately.

Consent

Your consent is required for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, except where otherwise permitted by law. We obtain meaningful consent by:

  • Clearly explaining what information we collect and why

Note: Pre-checked boxes are not used for obtaining consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer.

Privacy Compliance

As a Canadian company serving customers globally, SINGOA ensures:

Data Retention and Deletion

  • Active Accounts: Data is retained for the duration of your subscription
  • Inactive Accounts: Data is securely deleted after 90 days of inactivity
  • Daily Data Purge: Temporary processing data is automatically deleted daily
  • User-Requested Deletion: Complete data deletion within 30 days upon request

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We DO NOT Share Your Data

SINGOA does not sell, rent, or share your personal or business data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data remains confidential and is used solely for providing our services.

Limited Service Providers

We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in delivering our services:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Secure hosting and data storage providers
  • Payment Processing: Secure payment processors for subscription billing
  • Communication Tools: Email and notification service providers

All service providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and security requirements.

Your Rights and Control

Individual Access

Upon written request and authentication of identity, you have the right to:

Note: Withdrawal of consent may limit our ability to provide certain services. We will inform you of the implications before processing your withdrawal request.

International Data Transfers

SINGOA primarily operates within Canada and the United States. When we transfer personal information outside of Canada, we ensure:

  • Adequate protection measures are in place comparable to PIPEDA standards
  • Compliance with applicable data transfer regulations
  • Standard contractual clauses for data protection
  • Regular monitoring and risk assessment of international data handling
  • Service providers are contractually bound to protect your information

Note: Data stored in the United States is subject to U.S. laws, including the USA PATRIOT Act, which may permit U.S. authorities to access your information under certain circumstances.

Children's Privacy

SINGOA is a business-to-business service intended for companies and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete the information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will:
